"Ike's Bird" Aero Commander L-26B
Your Holiday Gift Certificate will arrive in the mail and can be gift wrapped and placed under the tree. The package includes this colorful Gift Certificate with their name, an 8x10 color photo of the plane, plus an "Ike's Bird" pin.

This authentic aircraft was used exclusively by the White House starting in 1955 while Ike was President. It carried the highest officials of our land on short range trips from the Washington DC area. The plane was discovered in the late 90’s and began a total restoration to flight status. The plane is now flying with the Commemorative Air Force out of Dallas Executive Airport.

The plane holds three passengers, two together on the President’s bench seat, and one in the cockpit in the Co-pilots seat.

The flight experience lasts about an hour and includes 25 minutes in the air. All flights originate out of Dallas Executive Airport at the Headquarters of the Commemorative Air Force.
